“Nothing is less real than realism. Details are confusing. It is only by selection, by elimination, by emphasis, that we get at the real meaning of things.” - Georgia O'Keefe

Figurative art has been existing since the prehistoric era. Humans have been drawing on the walls of the caves as a means of communication. It is a powerful tool to tell your story.
Although, figurative art is losing it’s popularity I personally still gravitate towards it. I find it powerful and compelling, thought provoking and stimulating the mind, body & soul. It can initiate a great conversation with your guests. The inspiration that you get, the connection you make and the emotional nerve it strikes leave an impact which cannot be easily forgotten.
I use human figures to convey different emotions in depth. My effort is to offer artistic and psychological insights to enrich others. When people remember scenes and relate the work of art to those memories, it results in evoking emotions and empathy.
