When we were on a 2 yr trip to India, the building across our house where we lived had a bamboo planted as a fence. It looked absolutely gorgeous that it did not miss my urge to paint them.

It’s a treelike tropical or semitropical fast-growing grass. The stem of these plants are used for décor and  as a  building material. It is also used in alternative medicines.
