My goal to paint SEASCAPES is to transport people into a place that will give them joy and pleasure. I give them something to imagine that will take them away from their mundane lives. I capture those aspects of the scene that move me and then I communicate to the viewer with my own personal style.

BIRDS . . . I was inspired by their spiritual beauty and freedom. Their symbolism can vary greatly depending on different cultures and religion. “They can walk on the earth and swim in the sea but they also have the ability to soar into the sky”. Many consider that they symbolize eternal life, the link between heaven and earth.

And, FLORAL ART . . . I have not painted too many flowers. But the ones that I have were inspired by one of my all-time favorite Georgia O’ Keefe. She and her art always fascinated me.
